  About The Author

  GRAEME FARMER is a television writer who has written extensively for children. He wrote a lot of episodes of THE SADDLE CLUB. He also enjoys writing adolescent novels. He has had two published, GOLDEN PENNIES and BROTHERS IN ARMS. He has no hobbies to speak of but spends a lot of time staring into space, looking for new ideas. He is now working on two more adolescent novels: one called THE MYSTERY OF THE CHRISTOBELA, about a hunt for Incan treasure stolen by Spanish Conquistadors and buried somewhere in Australia; and HIDDEN POWERS, a political thriller in which Gemma and Paul fall in love while discovering how many lies old people tell young people. Graeme has only one ambition – to put into writing the immediacy and emotion and excitement you get on screen. The reader should not be on the outside looking in but in the middle of the action with the characters, heartbeat by heartbeat, as in a computer game. He lives in Melbourne, Australia.
